How to install the game

Pre install

So you are ready to play the game. but you don't really know how to install it don't worry, this guide should help you install the game!

What you need:

you need the following in order to start the install

  1. A computer (running Linux, Windows, or MacOS)

  2. a internet connection

  3. a ZIP extracter (using the default one is the best, if not the use 7-zip

You are able to run Hazzy on more stuff, like phones, consoles, and even smart refrigerator. check if the community made a port of it yet.

Set up windows

Setup for windows is easy. do the following:

  1. Download hazzy here or here

  2. extract the file using any zip extractor

  3. Run the game hazzy.exe

Note: be careful with modded versions. they can have bad JS code

You may need to open a few folders to find the .exe

that is really all you should do for installing and running hazzy on windows

MacOS install

Note newer versions of hazzy (v0.2.3.2 and newer) will no longer support MacOS due to hazzy failing to meet apple's "security" requirements. This is still here if you play older versions of hazzy

the MacOS install is easy

  1. Download hazzy here or here

  2. extract .ZIP

  3. run hazzy.appor game.app or even NW.app (they are all the same)

Linux install

the linux install is very easy. sadly the game is not out on package manages yet...

but this should work for now

pro tip: Linux verison has the most support due to Drwhomust being a Linux user :3

  1. Download hazzy here or here

  2. extract the zip file

  3. run either ./hazzy

Android install (old)

This method for how to install is not supported anymore (v0.2.3.2 and newer). it's still here for older versions of hazzy

installing on android is a bit tickly because you will need to download some apps but this guide should enplane everything!

Note, some verisons of android may flag this game as a virus but it is not. hazzy is safe and open source. the reason why it does that is because the game uses JS code meant for PCs

Pre setup

You will need to use this app to run the game

The Setup

  • Download the game here (get the source code)

  • extract the zip

  • move the folder it extracted to the root of your phone

  • open Maldives

  • click on "Add game" the find the folder that has the folder called "resources"

  • once found allow Maldives to gain access to that folder

  • run the game

iPhone and Android setup

Head to newgrounds and make sure mobile contronls are enabled (should be by default)
